Camp TN Spencer Park, 3155 Foxford Rd., Concord..This 50 acre park was dedicated in May 2003 by a partnership with the Cabarrus County Parks Department and Boys & Girls Club. Camp TN Spencer has operated as a private summer camp since the late 1940s and is available to the Boys and Girls Club for summer camp programs. The park has community buildings for meetings/gatherings, a fishing pier and boardwalk. The park also includes a public swimming pool, 1.5 mile trail, playgrounds, cabins, tent camping sites, bathhouse, fishing ponds, picnic sites, shelters, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts and parking lot. Cabarrus County will continue to renovate the park over the next 12-14 years. A NC Park and Recreation Trust Fund Grant was awarded in 2003 to assist in facility development.
